AS-3150 crocodile shear’s blades length is 1200mm, and the blade opening size can reach 520mm. It is mainly used for shearing the scrap steel materials, including round steel, square steel, angle steel and steel plate ect.

Installation and adjustment

Installation Notes

Nota 1

The machine should be mounted on a level concrete surface to ensure stable operation without vibration. It can be installed indoors or outdoors, but if placed outdoors, a rain cover will be needed to protect the electrical system.

Nota 2

First, find the position of the main machine according to the plane diagram and level it, then find the position of the oil cylinder. After cleaning the oil pipe and the packing joint, connect the oil pipe, and don’t forget to put the sealing ring.

Nota 3

Connect the circuit correctly, and the power supply according to the site conditions.

Nota 4

The fastening mechanism and hydraulic joints must not be loose, and all joints in the electrical system must be tightened.

Debug methods

Primer paso

Check whether the electrical and hydraulic system connections are loose or incorrect.

Segundo paso

Inject wear-resistant hydraulic oil (YB-N46# in summer and YB-N32# in winter) into the cylinder. The injection amount can reach about 80% of the total capacity of the cylinder.

Tercer paso

Inject engine oil from the oil discharge port of the high-pressure oil pump and apply 20# machine oil to all lubrication parts.

Forth Step

Turn on the power, unscrew the overflow valve handle, start the motor (use the method of stopping immediately after starting), and pay attention to whether the rotation direction of the motor is consistent with the direction of the oil pump. If not, reverse it immediately.

Fifth Step

Start the motor, let the oil pump run idle for 3-5 minutes, and adjust the overflow valve pressure so that the system overflow is stable at around 8 Mpa.

Sixth Step

Adjust the starting pressure of the single sequence valve. First, turn off the single sequence valve, gradually loosen the pressure regulating handle, and at the same time, gradually expand the pressure of the overflow valve outward, observe the pressure value at the beginning of the shear cylinder, and adjust the pressure value to 4-5 MPa.

AS-3150 crocodile shear operation method

You can freely set the AS-3150 crocodile shear for single shearing or continuous shearing. The operation is as follows:

Pressure—shearing—pressure loosen—back is a working cycle. If you want to control the machine to perform a single shearing, press each action button of the shearing machine once to complete a shearing action.
Put the button in the continuous operation position, the machine will automatically complete the process from pressure to back and cycle the shearing action.
