9crsi is a commonly used low alloy tool steel with high hardenability, as well as high tempering resistance. It can be used to manufacture tools with complex shapes, small deformation, high wear resistance and low-speed cutting. It is the material of the blade of the granulator that is currently widely used.

Cr12MoV has high hardenability, wear resistance and strength. Compared with 9crsi, the wear resistance can be increased by 2-3 times, making it an ideal material for granulator blades.

⭐ Install Blades Correctly

The blades of granulator need to be installed correctly, otherwise the service life of the blades will be affected.

  1. Open the main machine of the granulator, remove the original blade and clean it.
  2. Take out the new blade and check whether there are burrs or other problems on the blade edge. If there are, it needs to be trimmed.
  3. Install the blades on the blade seat. Note that the contact surface between the blade and the blade seat should be kept flat and there should be no gap; also keep the rotate blades and fixed blades 0 distance.
  4. After installing the blade, fix the blade on the blade seat with screws. Do not use too much force to avoid damaging the blade or the blade seat.
  5. After confirming that the blades is firmly installed, close the crusher cover and keep the machine in standby mode.
  6. Conduct a test run of the blade to check whether the blade rotates normally and whether there is friction or collision with other parts. If there is, it needs to be handled in time.
