Newly development BS-45 pulsed copper granulator machine is an upgraded dry-type cable recycling machine, built for medium-scale scrap wire processing. It can process waste copper cables from 0.5 mm to 20 mm in diameter, with a capacity of 350–500 kg/h.
By combining crushing, air separation and vibration separation, BS-45 can reach 99.9% copper recovery rate, helping you recover clean copper granules with less material loss. Equipped with an advanced pulsed dust collection system, our BS-45 copper granulator captures fine dust during operation, keeping your workshop cleaner and meeting local environmental requirement.

Simon’s pulsed copper granulator machine was ready for factory testing before shipment. During the test, mixed scrap wires are fed into main crusher through conveyor belt then pass air separator and vibrating table, you can see clean copper granules coming out from the upper outlet. A small amount of copper-plastic mixture enters electrostatic separator for secondary separation, helping improve copper recovery and reduce metal loss.
After watching this testing video, Simon was very satisfied with its separation result and ready to put it into operation after delivery.

Main Crusher Operation & Maintenance Guide

1. Keep the Blade Clearance Correct
Blade clearance should be adjusted to zero-clearance position.
2. Lubricate the Main Crusher Regularly
The main crusher should be lubricated on a regular schedule to reduce friction and protect moving parts.

  • In hot weather, apply grease approximately every 3-5 days.
  • In cold weather, apply grease approximately every 7-15 days.

3. Clean the Screens and Separation Area
Remove the separation screen and blow it clean until it is close to the condition of a clean spare screen. The vibrating screen on the separation bed should also be cleaned thoroughly.
4. Adjust the Suction Ducts Properly
The two suction ducts above vibrating bed should be adjusted according to actual separation result. Normally, the front duct can be opened about halfway, while the rear duct can be opened to the maximum setting.
5. Check the Machine If Smoke or Material Clumping Appears
If smoke appears or material clumps, stop machine and check the following points:

  • Whether the blades are installed in the correct direction
  • Whether the blade clearance is adjusted correctly
  • Whether the crusher screen size is too small

6. Do Not Increase Airflow Blindly
Excessive blower airflow may make the front copper output look cleaner, but it can also carry more copper into the plastic discharge at the rear.

Best BS-45 pulse copper granulator is easy to operate when the correct start-up and shutdown sequence is followed. This operation process helps ensure stable feeding, smooth crushing, accurate copper-plastic separation, and safer daily production.

  • Start-Up Sequence
    Start your machine in the following order:
    Crusher → wait about 8 seconds → front fan → rear fan → magnetic separator → copper conveyor → plastic conveyor → feeding conveyor → external feeding conveyor → copper vibrating system → plastic vibrating system → water pump → external magnetic separator → external conveyor → air pump → blower → separation bed
  • Shutdown Sequence
    After your material is cleared, shut down the system in the following order:
    Crusher → separation bed → blower → front fan → rear fan → magnetic separator → copper conveyor → plastic conveyor → feeding conveyor → copper vibrating system → plastic vibrating system → water pump → external magnetic separator → external conveyor → air pump

Of course. However, these wires often contain oil and tape, so we recommend mixing a small amount of lime powder before feeding. 

Please strictly follow the steps below:

  • Keep the distance between the blade and the bottom screen at around 0.5–3 mm.
  • Install the two inner fixed blades first and keep them parallel to the main shaft.
  • Align the rotating blades with proper clearance. They should cut cleanly without metal-to-metal rubbing.
  • Install the remaining fixed blades and tighten all bolts securely before testing the machine.

If your local place has strict environment requirement, you can choose BS-45, otherwise you can choose BS-D60.
