Radiator Separator Equipment for Scrapyard Use and Resale in Saudi Arabia

Mohammad, a scrapyard owner in Saudi Arabia, purchased 6 pcs of BS-1200P radiator separators, 6 pcs of BS-ACS20 aluminum-iron separators, and a band saw from BSGH-Granulator. His goal was to expand radiator recycling scale at his own scrapyard and selling machines to other local recyclers.

Meeting Radiator Separating Problems

Mohammad buys bulk scrap radiators from auto dismantlers and air-conditioning repair shops from different sources. He wanted to recover more valuable metals at his own scrapyard while also purchasing radiator separating machines for resale. His order needed to meet both business needs.

Material

Mohammad has two types of scrap: copper–aluminum radiators and aluminum-clad iron radiators, each contains different metals and requires two different separation machines.

Bottleneck

Manual dismantling was time-consuming and often left copper mixed with aluminum or aluminum together with iron. Mohammad was troubled by the low selling price of final metals.

Own Use + Resale

His wanted separating machine capable of processing both copper–aluminum and aluminum-clad iron radiators. Part of the equipment was intended for his own yard, with the remaining units intended for resale.

02 / Equipment Selection

BS-1200P Copper-Aluminum Separator + BS-ACS20 Aluminum-Iron Separator + Band Saw

Allowing for Mohammad’s needs, we recommended BS-1200P for separating copper tube from aluminum foil and BS-ACS20 for separating aluminum from iron, with a band saw to cut copper–aluminum radiators before stripping.

BS-1200P Radiator Separator

BS-1200P separates copper tubes from aluminum fins in one- or two-layer copper–aluminum radiators. Its standard configuration accommodates 19, 21, and 25 mm copper tube spacing, measured center to center.

BS-ACS20 Aluminum–Iron Radiator Separator

BS-ACS20 removes outer aluminum from iron pipes in aluminum-clad iron radiators. Its spacers and inlet guides are matched to the tube diameter, separating aluminum iron through cutting mechanism.

Band saw cut oversized or more than two layers ac radiators into suitable sizes of 1 or 2 layer, reducing their width, layer count, or both for BS-1200P to separate.

From Order Confirmation to Factory Testing

Confirming Order Details

Before production, we worked with Mohammad to confirm the requirements for his order:

Equipment quantities: 6 units of BS-1200P copper aluminum radiator separators, 6 units of BS-ACS20 aluminum-clad iron radiator separators, and a band saw.
Machine configuration: Customized different copper tube center spacing, iron tube diameters, and safety light curtains.
Power supply: Required voltage, frequency, and phase.
Blades and accessories: Cutting blades and spacers.

Factory Visit and Machine Testing

Production began after Mohammad approved the specifications and we received his 30% deposit. During production, Mohammad visited our factory to review his order’s progress. Our team showed him the welding process and superior materials used in his ac radiator separating machines, enabling him a closer look at how the equipment was built.

Mohammad also watched BS-1200P and BS-ACS20 radiator separators together with band saws being tested before shipment, getting a firsthand look at how each machine worked.

Happy with the Results

Mohammad was pleased with final pure copper tube, aluminum foil and iron pipe, resulting in high returns after using our machines at his scrapyard. Customers who purchased BS-1200P and BS-ACS20 from him also shared positive feedback, reporting safe, reliable operation, no need to separate radiators for a second time.

Encouraged by his own experience and his customers’ feedback, Mohammad is now looking to purchase more units of BS-1200P + BS-ACS20.
