BS-1200P radiator stripping machine was invented by BSGH with CE certificate, the first inventor in the world for this kind of material. The radiator stripper machine is suitable for flat and uncurved scrap radiators from the air conditioner, car/auto radiators or water tank radiators.
Standard machine can process 3 or 5 different copper tube center distances at most; Usually, most of the scrap radiators in the market are 19mm,21mm and 25mm. If your scrap radiator has other distances, pls let us know. We will customize the machine for you.
BS-1200P consisted of a frame,2 motors and 2 reduction gearboxes, a feeding panel for scrap radiator material, cutting parts, transmission parts, and material separation parts. This machine proved to be the best choice for recycling used radiators.

To ensure the complete separation of the copper tube and aluminum foil in a single operation, the worker does the following:

  • First, ensure that the left side of the radiators aligns with the left side of the Material Inlets. Make sure the first copper pipe in the upper layer is closer to the guiding ruler.
  • Then after pushing the radiators into Material Inlets, the feeding gears will securely grip them, smoothly feed them into the machine and complete the entire separation process automatically.

Notice Before Working:

Before delivery, the machine is already adjusted to the condition for processing radiators on the main market (19mm, 21mm, 25mm).
1.Check if the power is connected well;
2.Check if the Guiding Rulers for each part is at the right position;
3.Check if the two Adjusting Wheels of each pair (total three) are on same level;
4.Start the machine and check if the machine is running at the right direction.

Material Preparation:

Iron heads of radiators must be cut off by a band saw or electric hammer.

Radiators must be cut with a band saw according to the width of each Material Inlet;

Radiators that are more than 2 layers must be cut into one layer or two layers with the band saw; Do not feed radiators into the wrong Material Inlets (three inlets each are for 19mm, 21mm and 25mm radiators respectively);

This machine is suitable for processing one-layer radiators and 2layer radiators directly. When you need to process two-layer radiators, just remove the handle away from the present location. 

  1. When two-layer radiators are processed, the left side of the radiators shall touch the left side of each Material Inlet, and the first copper pipe in the Upper Layer to the left side of each Material Inlet must be nearer than the first copper pipe in the Lower Layer to the Left Side of each Material Inlet.
  2. For both one-layer and two-layer radiators, the left side of the radiators must touch the Guiding Rulers and radiators must be fed into Material Inlets along the guiding ruler.
  3. When radiators are fed into Material Inlets correctly, each Feeding Tooth at the Material Inlet must be in the middle of each two copper pipes; or else copper pipes and aluminum will not be separated.

Twisted radiators or Irregular radiators can not be processed.

Processing of radiator stripping machine:

  1. Turn the Reversing Switch and check the rotating direction.
  2. Inject oil into the two oil holes on the left and right side of the machine to lubricate transmission gears (normally once per 4 working hours).
  3. Push different radiators into different Materials inlet according to their specs (19mm, 21mm, 25mm); the left side of radiators must touch the left side of the Material Inlets; or, the right side of radiators must touch the right side of Material Inlets (the first copper pipe in the Lower Layer shall be nearer to the Guiding Ruler, different with Ⅳ.6); when radiators are pushed into Material Inlets, Feeding Gears will gnaw at radiators and take them into the machine.
  4. According to the layers of radiators and their height, adjust each pair of Adjusting Wheels on the machine (after adjusting, tighten the screws below).
  5. After radiators are taken into the machine, copper pipes and aluminum are separated and come out of the machine.

FAQ about BS-1200P radiator stripping machine

This machine can handle radiators with center distances of 19mm, 21mm, and 25mm. If you have radiators with other center distances, just contact us to customize your machine.

Here’s how many copper pipes it can process for each center distance:

When the radiator center distance is 25mm, it can process up to 14 copper pipes. The maximum width of the radiator it can handle is 360mm.
When the radiator center distance is 21mm, it can process up to 10 copper pipes. The maximum width of the radiator it can handle is 220mm.

BS-1200P radiator stripping machine requires three-phase voltage to operate, not recommended to use single-phase voltage.

One-layer and 2 layer radiators can be processed directly. However, when dealing with three or four-layer radiators, you’ll need to use a band saw to make the necessary cuts.

The machine can work as long as you need, but it’s better to take a break every 4 hours to cool down the machine, Thus you can have a better working experience and extend the machine’s lifespan.

  1. The first row of handles is for adjusting the raw material inlet teeth.
  2. The second row of handles is for blade adjustment.
  3. The third row of handles is used to adjust the radiator outlet. Make sure that both left and right handles are adjusted simultaneously.
