1. What mechanism did the wire granulator use for separation?

Many people are curious about how BSGH Granulator works for separation. When using a copper wire granulator, first you need to crush the wire into a mixture. Afterward, we use the following 4 methods for separation: air separation, vibration, magnetic selection and electrostatic separation.
First, airflow separation system to segregate the shredded mixture. Copper and plastic granules are separated by air separation system according to their weight after the plastic and copper will collect in different outlets.
Then, small table vibrator is used for dual separation. Small table vibrations drain small and heavier copper particles to the next layer, whereas the bigger and lighter plastic particles are transported in the upper layer.
When wires have magnetic materials like steel and iron, a magnetic separation system is needed, This system is added above the copper outlet or frame above the conveyor belt to remove materials like iron in your wires. Magnetic particles are attracted to the magnetic surface, while non-magnetic particles remain unaffected and continue along their path.
To recycle more completely, you need to assemble the separador eletrostático for thin wires. Electrostatic separators are based on the principle of electrostatic attraction or repulsion to separate materials with varying of electrical conductivity.

2. Can the machine process various types of scrap wires and cables?

Classified by diameter: Actually no, armored cables and wires with a diameter greater than 30mm are not recommended for processing, but several pcs are no problem, It’s important to note that cable granulator machines are not well-suited for armored cables or cables with larger diameters. We recommend processing wires diameters within 20mm to 30mm as a general guideline, for wires exceeding this diameter in large amounts, recommend to recycle by wire stripper machine.
Classified by cable types: Copper wire granulators are proficient in processing wires with diverse insulation materials like plastic, rubber, and PVC; and processing thin cables such as household wires, communication cables and industrial cables, especially mixed cable, complex cable and slim cable. They are suitable for wires that challenge for wire stripper machines, such as car wires, plug wires and telephone wires.

3. Can the granulator be adjusted to accommodate different output sizes?

Absolutely, you can adjust the size of copper rice through the types of mesh screen and the changes of processing parameters. 4. What is the daily operational duration of the machine?

How long can the machine operate within a single day? This is a question that most people are curious about. Normally, the machine can work continuously as desired, however, to ensure a longer lifespan, we recommend about every 4 hours have a rest, workers also need to rest. For instance, if you activate the machine in the morning, power it off during lunch to allow for cooling and rest, then restart it in the afternoon, you can operate like this in one day. By following this, the machine will not only reduce maintenance costs but also have optimal performance.

5. How many people are needed to operate the machine？

For small quantities of recycling using small or medium-sized machines like BS-D75, BS-D20, BS-D30 e BS-D60, one person is enough. However, for larger capacity machines like BS-N130, ECO1000, BS-F1000 e BS-F3000, it’s better to have 2 workers to ensure optimal recycling results, also, they just need to put the scrap wires on the conveyor belt and take away end products at regular intervals.

6. When should I change the blades?

The process of scrap wire crushing plays a crucial role in the copper wire granulator machine. Scrap wires must be shredded into a mixture by sharp blades before separation. It’s important to note that these blades have a limited lifespan due to continuous use. So how long should I change the blades? Several factors determine the longevity of the blades: the frequency of machine use and the types of raw materials processed significantly affect the blades’ lifespan.
1: When the blades become dull, they can be sharpened.
2: When there are crushed long wires, you can change or sharp blades.
3: When the separation effect is not good, you can change or sharpen blades.
4：When the knife edge can’t be sharpened, change it.

7. Why is the machine priced so differently?

Because different machines have varying capacities, diverse technologies and incorporate various raw materials, etc., for different capacities, machine prices are not the same, the bigger the more expensive.
