How Does A Wire Granulator Working?

  • Step 1

    Pre-shredder crushes the scrap cables into 5-10cm small segments.

  • Step 2

    Scrap cable pieces are conveyed to main crusher by conveyor belts.

  • Step 3

    Main crusher processes the scrap cable pieces into mixture copper-plastic granules.

  • Step 4

    Convey belts convey mixture copper-plastic granules to air separator.

  • Step 5

    Then copper granules and plastic particles are respectively conveyed to small vibrating table for the second separation.

How to Maintain the Wire Granulator?

Cleaning and dust removal

The wire granulator should be cleaned and dusted regularly, including cleaning of motors, crushers, bearings and other parts to remove accumulated dust and impurities and prevent machine failures caused by excessive impurities.

Check and replace worn parts

During use, the wear of the blades should be checked regularly. The blades will become blunt after a period of use, affecting the crushing and sorting effects, so it needs to be polished or replaced regularly. In addition, check whether the screws of the machine are loose, whether the sieve mesh is damaged and blocked.

Regularly check and replace lubricating oil

During the operation of the wire granulator, it is necessary to regularly check the lubrication of each lubrication point and replace the lubricating oil when necessary.
