Many people are curious about how BSGH Granulator works for separation. When using a copper wire granulator, first you need to crush the wire into a mixture. Afterward, we use the following 4 methods for separation: air separation, vibration, magnetic selection and electrostatic separation.
First, airflow separation system to segregate the shredded mixture. Copper and plastic granules are separated by air separation system according to their weight after the plastic and copper will collect in different outlets.
Then, small table vibrator is used for dual separation. Small table vibrations drain small and heavier copper particles to the next layer, whereas the bigger and lighter plastic particles are transported in the upper layer.
When wires have magnetic materials like steel and iron, a magnetic separation system is needed, This system is added above the copper outlet or frame above the conveyor belt to remove materials like iron in your wires. Magnetic particles are attracted to the magnetic surface, while non-magnetic particles remain unaffected and continue along their path.
To recycle more completely, you need to assemble the electrostatic separator for thin wires. Electrostatic separators are based on the principle of electrostatic attraction or repulsion to separate materials with varying of electrical conductivity.
2. Can the machine process various types of scrap wires and cables?
Classified by diameter: Actually no, armored cables and wires with a diameter greater than 30mm are not recommended for processing, but several pcs are no problem, It’s important to note that cable granulator machines are not well-suited for armored cables or cables with larger diameters. We recommend processing wires diameters within 20mm to 30mm as a general guideline, for wires exceeding this diameter in large amounts, recommend to recycle by wire stripper machine.
Classified by cable types: Copper wire granulators are proficient in processing wires with diverse insulation materials like plastic, rubber, and PVC; and processing thin cables such as household wires, communication cables and industrial cables, especially mixed cable, complex cable and slim cable. They are suitable for wires that challenge for wire stripper machines, such as car wires, plug wires and telephone wires.

For instance, if you activate the machine in the morning, power it off during lunch to allow for cooling and rest, then restart it in the afternoon, you can operate like this in one day. 5. How many people are needed to operate the machine?
For small quantities of recycling using small or medium-sized machines like BS-D75, BS-D20, BS-D30 and BS-D60, one person is enough. However, for larger capacity machines like BS-N130, ECO1000, BS-F1000 and BS-F3000, it’s better to have 2 workers to ensure optimal recycling results, also, they just need to put the scrap wires on the conveyor belt and take away end products at regular intervals.

Several factors determine the longevity of the blades: the frequency of machine use and the types of raw materials processed significantly affect the blades’ lifespan.
1: When the blades become dull, they can be sharpened.
2: When there are crushed long wires, you can change or sharp blades.
3: When the separation effect is not good, you can change or sharpen blades.
