BS-30A BX wire stripping machine, which can process BX cables and metal clad cables with a diameter less than 30mm, stripping off their aluminum or steel armor, and then recovering the valuable copper wire inside with a common type of wire stripping machine. With a processing speed of approximately 20–25 meters per minute, it is an ideal solution for boosting productivity and maximizing your cable recycling efficiency.

How to strip BX cable?

We recommend that you use the BS-30A BX wire stripping machine together with a cable stripping machine to ensure that all valuable materials in scrap BX cables are recycled.

  • Step 1: Use BS-30A BX cable stripper to strip the aluminum or steel armor on the outside of the BX cable.
  • Metal casing can be 100% separated, and the stripped aluminum particles or steel particles can be further recycled.

Step 2: Feed the inner cable into a common cable stripping machine to further separate its plastic insulation and copper core. After this step, you can get complete copper wires, which are often sold at a higher price.

Or if you want higher efficiency and automatic processing you can use cable granulator machine to process the inner scrap cables to get the pure copper granules and pure plastic granules.
