BS-D60S used copper wire granulator is a newly developed compact granulator machine that handles 300- 500kg of scrap wires per hour with 99.9% copper-plastic separation rate but in a smaller footprint and at a lower price, helping you save workshop space and investment cost. With an observation window for easy monitoring and a six-bag dust collection system for a cleaner working environment, the updated BS-D60S becomes more and more popular among small and medium scrap yards.

  • Background: Simon mainly recycles power cables with plugs. To improve feeding efficiency, we recommended adding a two-shaft pre-shredder in front of the new BS-D60 Copper Wire Granulator. The complete recycling line is now undergoing factory testing before shipment.

The operator feeds scrap power cables directly into the two-shaft shredder for pre-shredding. The cables are reduced to 5–20 cm pieces before entering the BS-D60S copper granulator for crushing and separation. During the test, high-purity copper granules are discharged from the front outlet, while the separated plastic exits from the other side. Seeing scrap cables transformed into clean copper granules, Simon was highly satisfied with the test results and is looking forward to receiving his machine.

How does BS-D60S used Copper Wire Granulator Work?

Newest BS-D60S used copper wire granulator uses a dry-type physical separation process to recycle scrap wires. Through crushing, airflow separation, and vibrating tables, you can get 100% clean copper particles.

Working Steps

Scrap wires are fed into the main crusher, output with 3-5mm fragments.

Crushed copper-plastic mixture enters air separator, based on different material weight and density, controlled airflow separates heavier copper granules from lighter plastic then discharges from different outlets.

Copper and plastic particles pass through vibrating tables for secondary separation.

With proper screen size, airflow adjustment, and separation table settings, you can get pure copper and plastic granules in respective outlets.
