Working Steps
The waste cables enter the pre-shredder, which pre-shreds them into 5~25cm long strips for further crushing in the main crusher.
The conveyor belt conveys the waste cables to the main crusher, and our main crusher crushes the pre-processed cables into 3~5mm copper and plastic mixed particles.
Air separator performs the first separation of the mixed particles through the action of wind and gravity.
Vibrating tables separate the particles for the second time. After this step, pure copper particles and plastic particles will be discharged from the machine through different outlets.
Note:
- If your cable contains iron, our magnetic separator will help you extract the iron from all mixed particles. Don’t worry, the final product will not be affected.
- If you need to process very thin wires, electrostatic separator placed after plastic outlet can separate the small quantity mixed particles again, separating the lighter copper and effectively improving the recovery rate.
