What does electric motor wrecker consist of?
The structure of all electric motor wreckers can be divided into two parts. One is the cutting part and the other is the pulling part.
Cutting part: The blade can be divided into three categories: Flat blade, Sharp blade and Semi-Rod Blade.
Flat blade: This type is used to halve the motor case. ST-400 and BSM-50 are equipped with it.
Sharp Blades: It is designed for cutting the motor stator. Machines such as ST-400 and BSM-50 use this kind of blade to cut motor stators.
Semi-Rod Blade: It is used to cut the copper winding at one end of the stator leading the pulling process more easier. MR-W, BSM10/20/40/60, and BSC mainly employ this type.
Pulling part: The purpose of the pulling part is to process stators of different diameters.
It mainly consists of claws of different application sizes, some machines also add hydraulic clamps. The 8-claw is mainly used to handle stators below 120mm. The 16-claw aims to process stators below 180mm. The hydraulic pliers can deal with stators with larger diameters.
Different blades have different uses. They are all made of high hardness, good quality and wear-resistant materials.

How dose electric wrecker works?
The entire workflow can be divided into two steps: cutting and pulling.
Step one: Put the scrap motor under machine cutter and fix it with machine or hand (Depending on the type of the machines), rotate and then the blade will cut it in half or separate the ends of copper winding from its body. (Relying on the type of blades)
Step two: Take out the motor and put it to the pulling part where hydraulic claw will pull the entire copper winding out automatically.
Note: It is worth mentioning that the cutting and pulling functions of motor recycling machine can be used at the same time, which can effectively improve the efficiency of the machine.
routine maintenance when using electric motor wrecker?
- Check the electrical box of the machine regularly to avoid water or moisture.
- The power socket and sheath should be replaced if damaged.
- The running tracks on both sides of the cutting machine need to be refueled every day. It is best to add lubricant twice a day.
- The claws need to be lubricated with lubricating oil regularly. It is best to add lubricant twice a day.
- Do not pile up flammable objects around the machine to avoid dangerous accidents.
- When there is glue or bamboo tightly in the stator, you need to do pre-treatment according to the actual situation: heating first.
- The hydraulic tank should not be filled up fully, 2/3 or 3/4 of the oil tank is recommended.
- Claws and push rods need to be inserted into appropriate positions according to specific recycled motors.
- When the stator is too tight or too loose, you need to cut the stator a few more times.
- Claws only can be inserted into copper windings, DON’T insert into silicon steel or else, the claws will be damaged.
