Our metal briquetting machine adopts a vertical structure, its main components include: the head, bottom girder, and main cylinders made of cast steel, a high-quality hydraulic system, and a PLC control system with replaceable multi-language.
Main Parts
• Main cylinder is made of ZG310 wear-resistant metal material, stronger and higher impact resistance.
• Pushing cylinder and the feeding hopper form an automatic feeding structure. Repeated action of the pushing cylinder finishes feeding.
• Acceleration cylinder, pushing cylinder, and block extraction cylinder are made of seamless steel pipes, which have higher strength than ordinary steel pipes, able to withstand higher pressure and bending force, better corrosion resistance.
• Charge tank is mounted on the side of the cross member and used to replenish the hydraulic oil required when the master cylinder moves forward quickly.
• Pressure head is made of 60Si2Mn material and undergoes multiple heat treatments, making it extremely wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, reducing replacement frequency and maintenance costs.
Conveyor Belt
Both the feeding and discharging ports are equipped with conveyor belts to convey the raw materials to the briquetting chamber for processing and discharging processed briquettes, which shortens the feeding and discharging time and improves working efficiency.
Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system provides consistent power output up to 37KW or more, making machine continuously output stable high pressure to compact each metal block. It consists of motor, oil pump, combination valve, pressure gauge, thermometer, air filter, etc.
• Hydraulic oil enters hydraulic cylinder from oil pump through the pipeline and valve body, and valve body controls the reciprocating motion of cylinder to achieve squeezing, returning, and adding.
Note: When oil temperature is higher than 55℃, the machine must stop working! Let the oil pump run idle for 20 minutes (cooling water keeps flowing) to forcefully cool the oil.

Working Process & Video Display
Here you can see the working process of our hydraulic briquette machine. The oil pump delivers hydraulic oil, and then it enters the hydraulic cylinder through the piping and valve body, with the valve body controlling the reciprocating motion of the cylinder to realize the actions such as extrusion, return and feeding. The system pressure is set by the overflow valve located on the side of the combination valve.
Step 1
Metal chips are conveyed to the pre-filling chamber via screw conveyors.
Step 2
The press head compresses the metal chips into its main pressing chamber.

Remove the chip liquid.

The main pressing plunger presses the metal chips into the mold to the final shape and density.

1. Adjust the main cylinder to the top position, the block cylinder to the front point, and the feeding cylinder to the rear point, and feed material into the feed port.
2. Control the feeding cylinder to fill the mold with material.
3. Press the “Main Cylinder Down” button to control the main cylinder to move downward, making the pressure head enter the mold cavity. Pay attention to the pressure gauge until it reaches the set pressure.
4. Press the hydraulic briquetting machine “Main cylinder up” button to raise the main cylinder by 2~5mm to release pressure, then the block extraction cylinder retreats and controls the main cylinder to continue to descend until the block falls, the block extraction cylinder moves forward to push out the final product, and controls the main cylinder to rise to the top, perform the second cycle.
5. During automatic operation, place the conversion switch in the automatic position, press the “auto start” button, and the automatic cycle begins. The operator only needs to perform feeding operations.
6. When starting work, please operate machine in manual mode to compress 3-5 blocks first to fill the top auxiliary oil tank with hydraulic oil, and then enter the automatic operation.
